An outstanding red meditation wine, exciting even when uncorked 15 years after the harvest. It is obtained from the typical grape varieties of Valpolicella – Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and a small percentage of Croatina – cultivated in our vineyards on the hills of Marano, 350 meters above sea level. The vines are trained according to the traditional Veronese pergola and are between 10 and 30 years old. The specificity of Amarone lies in the 90 days long drying of the grapes before pressing, which allows it to stand the long aging and provides the unmistakable flavour profile with full, warm, velvety notes and hints of ripe fruit and woodland undergrowth.
Giuseppe learnt to appreciate good things and besides the popular “Trattoria da Bepi”, he began making wines, establishing his company in 1984. This idea was also due to his friend enologist Roberto Ferrarini.
