Puramun Co-Fermented 2014 - 750ml

$69.99 $85.99

Pepe Galante is considered one of the most important winemakers in Argentine history. As head of oenology at Catena Zapata from 1976 to 2010, he pioneered the revolution and evolution of Argentine wine; that's why many know him as "the father of modern winemaking" in his country.

Today, thanks to the oenologist, Argentina offers the international market wonderful wines that do nothing to owe anything to the great icons of the planet. Pepe wines are characterized by their delicacy and elegance, easy to drink and savor one glass after another.

Puramun Co-Fermented 2014 is the magnificent result of co-fermentation in barrels with 67% Malbec and 33% Petit Verdot, from Chacayes.

This wine was born from the idea of making a blend in search of a good partner for Malbec, one that would provide structure, but not opaque. After many tests, the winemaker chose Petit Verdot as the ideal one, because it provides more permanence in the mouth and blueberry aromas, which is complemented by the black fruit that is in Malbec.

Puramun Co-Fermented has a beautiful ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of plum, black currant, blueberry and coconut. A thick textured palate, delicious flavors of roasted black fruits and chocolate. Excellent body, balanced and persistent.
